For the event, we would please ask you to wear something of the nautical essence. Weather (not a typo people; it’s called humour sweetie, look it up) it be your striped shirt (red, black or blue stripes preferred), your rain hat, or your Maid of the Mist Poncho. D’Arcy wore a nautical striped shirt throughout his adult life (see photos throughout this website for inspiration - get the Madonna reference?). D’Arcy felt more at home when he was in and around the water. His love to the ocean was so strong that I often referred to him as a merman. And it is no surprise he wished his ashes to be scattered in bodies of water: Loughborough Lake and river in El Yunque, Puerto Rico.
